Malaysia's broadband sucks!!!

This is not a joke man! This is real situation of broadband [=narrowband] in Malaysia.

"RedesignMalaysia.com is a private sector initiative designed for collaborative change. It is designed to foster better e-governance, and transparency, and to harness collective voices to improve situations for all. The current phase 1 focus of the site is to improve the quality and coverage of broadband in Malaysia. We aim to achieve this through the compilation of relevant news articles, highlighting areas that lack coverage, through giving consumers an understanding of broadband options in their area, and providing valuable user-driven data.

RedesignMalaysia.com aims to harness whatever dissatisfaction, constructive criticism or suggestions from the people that matter the most - the rakyat (the people). It is in line with the current governments call for more accountability and transparency.

The players that provide broadband services stand to benefit the most from this - or perhaps, or maybe, only the ones that provide good service. RedesignMalaysia.com Phase One provides a significant, and soon to be exhaustive overview of the broadband situation in Malaysia, and gives a wide public overview that is easily understood. We aim to accelerate the demand/supply chain as well as provide an avenue for public consumer feedback.

At the end of the day, we aim to work with all parties whether companies, individuals and the government to create a better broadband environment. We do not claim to be the authoritative or most accurate resource on the topic of Malaysian broadband, however, we might just be the best publicly available one, and one of the most significant efforts to improve local broadband to date.

Please comment and contribute should you see any inaccuracies – the process of mapping coverage and improving the service is aimed to be a collaborative one involving RedesignMalaysia.com, broadband service providers and its users."
